This series gave me so many answers to concerns I’ve had since joining the church at 18. The info is delivered in a factual and organized way that is easy to understand. Validated all my shelf items that the church could never answer
So informative and it de-mystifies questions that in all my years as an active member never got answered
I listen to sort out the facts from “just accept it because we someone wrote/said it.” What some commenters don’t understand is that in science if there is a way to disprove an hypothesis, the hypothesis fails. The same applies to historical “facts.” If one word or fact in a historical account is proven false, impossible, or clearly anachronistic, the account is unusable. The program consistently tackles LDS truth claims with a calm, evidence-focused approach, examining historical sources, church narratives, and modern critiques. Episodes frequently compare eyewitness accounts, primary documents, and apologetic responses to assess what can be known versus what remains debated, all while emphasizing fairness and respect in dialogue. A standout aspect is the willingness to challenge canonical stories by weighing multiple perspectives, which can offer valuable context for listeners exploring faith, doubt, or historical research.
Noteworthy is the blend of academic rigor with accessible storytelling, making complex debates about scripture, church history, and doctrinal claims approachable for both longtime memb... more
