I’m not usually a fan of people chatting in podcasts. Mostly it’s inane. Not that this isn’t inane. It’s just their chemistry, erudition and focus around reading the paper for good stories keeps me riveted. I even “treated myself” to a digital subscription. Thanks you both and team behind it.
A man with no charm, wit or discernible skills except a talented father and sister moans about a world he has no interest in understanding.
Love the show and the dynamics between Esther and Giles. While so many other shows are bland and overly sensitive, Giles does not censor his opinions and courageously battles consensus views. Esther is the perfect foil, ensuring that Giles has to properly argue his position. Like many, I don’t agree with everything he says, but I do enjoy having my own views challenged. One criticism: Esther really should be mentioned in the show’s title.
