  • Very glad to find this!

I am one of the animal lovers. Few of this kind of broadcast in my country and Vegan like me is seen oddly from people there. It’s common. Very good broadcast. Only one thing I would like to request is... I prefer to listen to the quiet music in the broadcast. For me, inserted music is a little bit noisy... Hopefully...

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Veganarchism: Against All Oppression, Everywhere, All the Time with Nathan Poirier
Q: Why combine veganism and anarchism rather than treating them as separate movements?
He argues that many people compartmentalize the two, which undermines the potential for broad, transformative social change; combining them fosters a more holistic critique of oppression across species and social hierarchies.
Veganarchism: Against All Oppression, Everywhere, All the Time with Nathan Poirier
Q: What is Veganarchism?
Nathan explains that veganarchism is best understood as a synthesis where veganism and anarchism are not separate domains but deeply intertwined, aiming for comprehensive human and non-human liberation rather than a narrow focus on one group.
More veganarchism - part 2 with Nathan Poirier
Q: What role does diversity and intersectionality play in vegan activism, and how should activists approach it?
Intersectionality should be used to broaden understanding and solidarity, not to rigidly confine who can discuss which issues; it is important to read, critique, and responsibly apply intersectional concepts across different communities while remaining open to diverse global perspectives.
More veganarchism - part 2 with Nathan Poirier
Q: Why pursue veganarchism as a framework rather than sticking to traditional vegan or anarchist lines?
Veganarchism combines both strands to challenge the status quo more comprehensively, encouraging readers and activists to push beyond conventional boundaries and consider how anti-authoritarian approaches can be applied to animal advocacy in radical, systemic ways.
Claire & Jesse - The Raven Corps / Vegans Against Fascism
Q: How did you transition The Raven Corps from a youth-focused group to a broader, anti-capitalist, total liberation movement?
We evolved by linking veganism to poverty, racism, colonialism, and white supremacy, expanding our campaigns to address capitalism and empire, and focusing on community-led, grassroots work rather than a single issue or donor-driven agenda.
