  • Facts…..

PM Albanese’s government responded to the April 2026 fuel crisis, driven by conflict in the Middle East affecting shipping through a combination of international negotiations, supply stabilisation measures & consumer focused cost of living relief. The Coalition was in government for 9 years & little if not anything was put in place for the future. I voted Liberal in and eagerly voted them out, as many others did in their monumental loss.

What They’re NOT Telling You About Australia’s Farming Crisis
Q: What keeps you going through these challenges?
A strong family and a culture of resilience; continuous adaptation, innovation in processing, and a belief that nearby processing and regional manufacturing can sustain communities.
What They’re NOT Telling You About Australia’s Farming Crisis
Q: How is the quota and tariff situation in China affecting your operations?
Even though not sending beef to China directly, a higher quota limit and a 55% tariff create knock-on effects that raise prices and push supply into other markets, destabilizing pricing and planning.
What They’re NOT Telling You About Australia’s Farming Crisis
Q: What information do you want more than anything else?
We need transparent data on deficits, supply, and future projections so farmers can plan with a realistic timetable and avoid unexpected disruptions.
Billionaire Queenslander John Wagner: "People Need To Know What's Coming Next"
Q: Why is private enterprise essential in delivering these projects according to you?
Because government processes are slow and risk-averse; private enterprise can move faster, innovate with proven technologies, and deliver critical infrastructure when public agencies are hampered by bureaucracy.
Billionaire Queenslander John Wagner: "People Need To Know What's Coming Next"
Q: What would you do to secure Australia's fuel future if the government stepped aside?
Push for rapid development of domestic refining and SAF capacity, streamline approvals, and leverage private sector execution to bring large-scale projects online quickly, starting with a SAF refinery in Toowoomba and enabling framework changes.
