Sam I’m a great fan of your podcast and enjoy your reel rants too. On this issue however I really disagree with how you interpret who is Australian.
Your debate with Joanna and James got really fierce and at times you let yourself down with your anger towards James. As a British Australian myself who has been naturalised,(not born here) I claim to be British Australian.
Joanna Howe, regardless of her Indian background is Australian as she is definitely a part of Australian culture and has our... more
How many times can you say “if you can’t define it, you can’t defend it” in a single episode? With the calibre of guests that are on this podcast it could be amazing, but Sam you’re just so angry and aggressive. The way you spoke to Dr Howe and her husband was disgraceful and unAustralian. She’s done (and continues to do) far more for Australia than you ever will.
This is a platform for Sam to push his opinions, leveraging guests to attempt a two-sided conversation, but pushes his point, talks over the top of and doesn’t listen.
Thankyou so much for what you are doing 110 percent agree with you and all your podcasts
And everyone that comes in
My question to you is
How Can I Help
Great podcast. Sam is not a polished media shill, which is exactly what makes him so appealing. He’s able to have strong views yet still show respect and genuine interest in his guests when they have a different view. This is what media should be. Keep it up.

Long-form, uncensored conversations centered on politics, national identity, immigration, and culture in Australia, often from a bold, contrarian perspective. Episodes frequently feature veterans, politicians, athletes, and commentators who share unapologetic takes on national sovereignty, media critique, and policy trade-offs, with a willingness to push boundaries and challenge mainstream narratives. The show stands out for its unapologetic rhetoric, deeply personal anecdotes from military and public life, and a consistent emphasis on accountability and practical reform across complex social issues. Potential listeners may find it compelling if they seek provocative, no-nonsense discourse that spans security, governance, and societal value... more
