The premise and conversation of the show (when Fran was there) was excellent. Karvelas is a self righteous, annoying and wholly biased journalist. Her obvious left leaning bias and patronising tone and voice ruins the show.
I used to love this podcast. Fran is a living legend. Over the last few years it become a negative, government bashing podcast amplifying conservative viewpoints, centring the role of the media in political life. PK’s ego and extreme right opinions are really off.
The Party Room is to Australian politics what a sports fan would want from their favourite sports podcast: detailed, well-informed commentary that slices through the noise and the spin to get to the heart of the issues of the day.
10/10. Would download illegally.
I was a loyal listener but find the show is now just government bashing just highlighting negatives and glancing over positives.
PK! Fran! What’s not to love.
