  • the paraquat episode was great, but paraquat is a herbicide, not a pesticide..This incorrect designation is important to correct.

  • Platform for idiots…

Sarah Wilson babbling on over the importance of her word salads on Substack is enough to prove this.

Do these people even listen to themselves?… obviously no one else does.

  • Too many ads

Love the pod but 4 minutes of obnoxious ads is too much considering the average length of an episode. I’ve listened to this podcast for years now, as well as being a reader of their weekly publication but since the purchase of the podcast by Solstice, the ads are really getting out of hand with frequency and topic.

The dating app conman who stole millions and the victim pushing for change
Q: Tracy, how did you first realize you were dealing with a real person who was actually someone else?
She explains recognizing inconsistencies, then discovering the real identity and the legal consequences faced by the conman, which clarified how deeply she had been misled.
Senator Stefanovic? Hannah Ferguson’s wild One Nation prediction
Q: How significant is Gina Reinhart's support in signaling Hanson isn't an outsider to the system?
Reinhart's backing is portrayed as a major signal that Hanson is embedded in the establishment, which could lend credibility to her platform and broaden its appeal beyond traditional supporters.
Senator Stefanovic? Hannah Ferguson’s wild One Nation prediction
Q: So do you see this latest polling as a wobble or a potential warning about One Nation's ceiling?
It's too early to tell, but it's a crucial reminder that the political landscape can change quickly and that weekly polling may not capture long-term trajectories or local dynamics.
Sarah Wilson from the eye of Europe’s road-melting heatwave
Q: What are people doing to cope and where can they go to stay cool?
People are crowding into hotel lobbies, cafes, and public spaces with air conditioning, using shaded areas, and seeking community support, while authorities encourage staying indoors and seeking water, with some temporary adaptations like canal access for cooling.
Sarah Wilson from the eye of Europe’s road-melting heatwave
Q: Is there a conversation about building more resilience into systems to withstand these events?
Yes, discussions focus on nuanced, long-term solutions beyond air conditioning, including urban design changes, cooling networks, and preparedness strategies, though there is debate over balancing immediate comfort with environmental goals.
