  • Nino b speaks like a former footy player with severe CTE

The most poorly spoken inarticulate journalist I’ve ever heard. Please stop putting him on this audio format. Is he the son of the boss or something??

  • Evidence and facts matter

Was horrified to hear Tony Barry insinuate a link between immigration and the housing crisis with highly selective opinions, no evidence or facts and no understanding of how the crisis has evolved. This is puzzling from someone who claims to listen to evidence. It just sounded like muted immigrant-bashing disinformation. I respect Barrie Cassidy and I like to hear diverse views but this episode gave me pause, I will have to review if I listen to this particular podcast again.

  • Barry & George forever

It’s always worth hearing the well considered commentary from Barry Cassidy, and lately George Megalogenis. However Tony Barrie’s main qualification for appearing on this podcast seems to be his surname. He frequently struggles to understand policy and never loses an opportunity to push Liberal Party talking points. Barry & George isn’t as catchy, but it would win on content.

  • Cliché he says.

I think this podcast does a pretty balanced and fair account of both sides of the political spectrums. However, today’s show Tony Barry, you were using some pretty soft words and cliches yourself. Your comments were not fair and balanced on the topic of the reference made to PM Albanese and the so called “Hamas” recognition. It was brushed over and light jokes were forthcoming to move on from the topic. The article ‘not’ being referred to and that reported this claim has been refuted, withdrawn ... more

  • Come back Barrie Cassidy

Come back Barrie Cassidy! While I’d like to hear George Megalogenis’ views on the politics of the day, he is lucky to get a word in to the conversation. Since Barrie Cassidy has been away, Tony Barrie has taken the opportunity to damn the ALP with faint praise (if that) while promoting his sentimental nostalgia for the once great Liberal Party of Menzies, Howard and Costello. Oh dear! George Megalogenis doesn’t have a snowflake’s chance in hell to make a counter argument. This used to be a great... more
