As a relative newcomer to sustainability work, this podcast has a really nice spread of guests offering work-based and personal insights which have helped me get across who’s who in the sector and offered a deeper look into various fields. For sustainability practitioners, the work is often personal and I like the way the interviews don’t shy away from recognising the more existential questions around finding meaning, balance and purpose.
The ebb and flow of the conversations between Nathan and his guests feels less like a traditional interview and more like a thoughtful, authentic and vulnerable back and forth between smart purposeful friends exploring ways to navigate the most important and difficult challenges of our time.
I just finished listening to the podcast with Erin Billman. A very poor interview. I wished the interviewer had let her speak. He constantly cut her short and then went on to pontificate with his own views. Tedious and frustrating. I was interested in what she might of said not the interviewer using her as a platform for his commentary. I was left frustrated and annoyed.
Love this long form conversation series - the perfect antidote to mindless content. Nourishment for the brain and soul.
