This podcast is everything I didn’t know I needed. Hearing real medical stories directly from physicians adds so much depth, empathy, and honesty to what goes on behind the scenes in healthcare. Every episode feels like you’re sitting across from a doctor who finally has the time and space to tell you what really happens…the victories, the heartbreak, and the humanity behind every decision. It’s eye-opening, emotional, and impossible to stop listening to.
This podcast gives so much helpful insight for those in the medical field but there are so many tidbits that are applicable in daily life, medicine or not. Highly recommend.
Dr. Lauren has managed to ask the kinds of questions people write entire books about and turn them into something engaging and easy to listen to. It’s thoughtful without dragging which is exactly what I need from a podcast.
It is rare to find a podcast that understands women physicians at all levels. FemMD not only gets it but elevates it. Every episode drop is an immediate listen for me, and I recommend it to every female physician I speak with.
