Total misogynistic creeper. Some of his anecdotes are SO anti-woman and harmful. Talking about people being hot, excuses his sexist comments as “just my generation” is absurd. Do not recommend. I think he’s planning a run for political office and trying to play right into the Republican demographic. Listen with caution, or better yet, get a better source than him.

FHT Baseline Change (110-160) in Labor: Danger, or Disregard?
Q: Is it okay, interpartum, if the fetal heart rate baseline goes from, say, 120 to 150?
If there's nothing else going on, if there's normal variability, and the heart rate just changes between 110 to 150, if it doesn't cross the threshold of tachycardia, yes, that is absolutely normal.
PFM Question: IAI WITHOUT Fever?
Q: While you can have clinical fever slash clinical IAI, but it not show up in histology, is it possible for a patient to have intra-amniotic infection and not actually have fever but have other indications of infection like maternal or fetal tachycardia?
Absolutely, it's a gap in the current ACOG committee opinion number 712.
PFM Question: IAI WITHOUT Fever?
Q: Isn't that a fantastic question?
Yes, it highlights how even a code of diagnoses sometimes leaves a gap.
Chorio Paradox: When Clinical & Path DX Don’t Agree
Q: Can you have clinical chorio, but not have it confirmed on histology?
Absolutely, you surely can.
Change Gloves After Placenta at CS? Yes, and No.
Q: Does ACOG, the CDC, do they endorse glove change or glove washing after placental delivery?
Current evidence is considered insufficient to support a formal recommendation for routine surgical glove change after placental delivery.
