These sister suckers have obviously never been near Tibet. First episode I played. I don’t need to hear anything else as idiots running their mouths is a dime a dozen these days. Wankers.
So much value here I decided to start paying for it. I needed to delete another podcast to stay in budget (sorry Ray).
Each hour is filled with well researched and humorously delivered content. It makes me question the history I learned and lived. I appreciate the Cam’s opinions despite the fact that they can challenge my own. That’s what makes it great.
Do care on.
Having learnt about the cold war many years ago in school, it had been a while since I brushed up on my history. The education system tends to tell events with a pretty heavy bias towards the west and so it was refreshing to listen to Cam and Ray (mostly Cam) discuss the events that took place whilst taking into account both perspectives. If you're looking for a history podcast that goes into incredible depth with a good amount of crude humour this is the podcast for you.
Casual use of the n word — no thank you. These guys are pigs.
Historical details are handled seriously and critically, but presentation is done in a seemingly casual manner. As someone that doesn’t have a lot of time to read even more
history works, this is the perfect way of spending leisure time without feeling guilty.

A long-form, historically rigorous show that blends deep research with sarcastic humor to unpack pivotal moments of the Cold War. Episodes repeatedly center on political economy, leadership decisions, and geopolitical strategy—often using pop culture as a running aside—while maintaining a self-aware, NSFW style. Listeners likely enjoy thorough context, multiple perspectives, and entertaining banter that makes dense history approachable. A standout trait is the hosts' willingness to tackle controversial topics with candor, weaving primary-source echoes, biographies, and big-picture analysis into cohesive narratives.
