  • What happened

Been a avid listener of this show for years, every week every episode. Loved the stark contrasts and opinions of these dudes.

Lately, I believe if I played a episode of the Team House to another vet, and asked to guess what the name of this podcast was, it would be called not the Team House, but the liberal anti American hater house. Dee I don’t know what has happened with you but your emotional opinions and baseless rants about how stupid everything the military is doing, and how it all trigg... more

  • Amateurish

Two armchair analysts evaluating a situation of which it is clear they have little if any knowledge and no real insight.

    The misinformation never stops.

    Find something more serious.

Two stars because at least it’s mildly entertaining.

  • Dee Needs to Go

Dee has really mastered the art of reading a headline, listening to others talk, and then say "That's crazy..." and "I'm gonna be honest... that's so stupid"

Turning this channel into the MSNBC of natsec podcasts one episode at a time.

He is single handedly bringing this channel down. Dee offers the same level of well articulated insight that I would expect from a high school freshman who just took an international relations class.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Former CIA Spy on Putin’s Secret War Against the West | Sean Wiswesser | EP. 406
Q: What should the West do to counter information warfare and active measures?
The guest argues that the most important step is credible deterrence and enhanced collaboration among allies, including better education of judges and security services, robust sanctions that hit hard at critical assets, and counter-messaging that reduces emotional manipulation by exposing tactics.
Former CIA Spy on Putin’s Secret War Against the West | Sean Wiswesser | EP. 406
Q: Can you describe how Russian illegals operate and why that matters?
Illegals are designed to embed themselves long-term in foreign societies, often using dead-double birth certificates and foreign passports; they rely on a mix of personal ties and sophisticated tradecraft, which demonstrates Russia's willingness to invest in covert capabilities that can function for extended periods without detection.
Former CIA Spy on Putin’s Secret War Against the West | Sean Wiswesser | EP. 406
Q: What makes the Russian intelligence services so enduring and difficult to deter?
Wiswesser explains that the combination of corruption, organizational reconfigurations (especially within the GRU), and deep patronage networks create a resilient system where accountability is weak and operations can be adapted quickly; this makes deterrence challenging and requires a credible, multilateral response.
The Wild West of Iraq: A Bank Robbery in Baghdad | Josh Bates | Ep. 403
Q: How did you transition from frontline combat to intelligence work later in your career?
A combination of seeking new challenges, the evolving needs of the Marine Corps, and a personal interest in understanding insurgency and population dynamics led me to shift into CI-Human and then joint intelligence roles. It involved formal schooling, cross-service collaboration, and eventually commanding roles within intelligence units.
The Wild West of Iraq: A Bank Robbery in Baghdad | Josh Bates | Ep. 403
Q: What was the most striking moment from the Baghdad operation for you?
Seeing the first real firefights against Saddam-era forces, the chaotic looting that followed, and the moment the bank raid highlighted how quickly criminal enterprise could flourish in a power vacuum. It underscored for me how combat operations needed to adapt on the fly to protect civilians and preserve stability.
