I have ‘binge listened’ to this series while painting the outside of the house. The series is excellent and well worth the investment of time. Some really fascinating details and stories that bring the places to life, presented in a light hearted but serious way. Can’t wait to visit the places I have not yet been to.
Particularly enjoyed the Avebury and Sutton Hoo episodes. I really enjoy Bettany’s television series so it was a delight to stumble across these podcasts. An excellent and informative theme to explore.
Listening to this podcast it makes me want to visit all the places, atmospheric and her voice is easy on the ear, she should read on audiobooks!
Enjoyed these episodes very much. Felt like I was on a vacation in England. Looking forward to more.
I really enjoyed listening to this podcast. I hope there will be a second season from Bettany Hughes on NT sites.
