On paper I can see why this made sense as a format that could pad space between the more labour intensive ‘proper’ shows, but they just don’t land without the first person accounts were used to. Feels like I’m being read a bedtime story :)
I’m only 10 and the theme song of this holy guacamole. This is the best thing ever and cold cases episode four made me laugh.
In the original telling of this story the character Fanny, was genuinely known as “scratchy fanny” because of the scratching and banging noises.
Uncanny used to be amazing - immersive- different- and so well produced- kudos to the producer. Cold cases eps are anything but. Three people in a room chatting in a vaguely unstructured way - like everything else at the moment. Genuinely sad that the obsession with “visualised podcasts” (YouTube videos ) has spoiled things.
What a complete waste of effort. Another load of tax payers money down the drain.
