I’m a new dog owner and I listen to tons of dog training podcasts. This one is a hidden gem and I feel it’s the best for basic practical, accessible information for pet owners. Other podcasts have a lot of theoretical discussions and seem more focused on dog trainers. Which is great and informative— but this is the podcast I find I get actual useful tips for the average dog owner. Some of the really big influencers for pet owners seem a little too flashy and a little too simplistic in their... more
Love it!
The leash pulling episode - what’s the point of this podcast? There was less than 10 minutes of information. The rest is just 3 people hanging out talking about dog training. It’s like sitting at bar with 3 dog trainers talking shop and your there just to listen about their career.
I am getting ready to get my first dog, and not ever having grown up around dogs, I knew I needed to start getting good information so I could understand the fundamentals of dog behavior and training. I feel so much more informed about dogs after having bingeing most of the episodes! I really love the laidback conversation and the straightforward truthful approach these guys have! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!
Hey guys, I absolutely love your podcast! I recently became a balanced trainer and I listen to your podcast all the time. During my commute to and from work and while rocking my baby boy to sleep at night. The facility I work at aligns perfectly with your approach to dog training so I really value your insights. I also love guessing the dog barks with you, although I’m yet to get one right 😆. Thanks for taking the time to create this podcast.
