    Unfortunately I never had the privilege of meeting or working for Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia, but I have zero doubt it would have been an honor to do so. I’ve always hoped a true “Cops Cop” leader would take Dallas PD to the level of morale, effectiveness, and relationship with the community it was capable of achieving - while also going out there and reducing crime - like every police department should strive to do.
