Spending a month on a Dexcom has been amazing. I was almost able to forget about type 1 diabetes completely. I just let control-IQ do its job and all I have to do is remember to carb count. That was until I decided to snack on a bag of Popchips and i... more

What fun I've had today...
It's been a crazy one and it doesn't help that since Thursday night my Freestyle Libre sensor has been acting up.

In this episode, after seeing some pretty shocking results I come up with a plan of action to improve my blood sugar after a difficult month.

Type 1 diabetes doesn't often get in the way of much for me. Stubborn highs and annoying hypos are usually something I can brush off with ease and continue with whatever I'm doing.
However, last weekend whilst driving home to see my brother's new d... more

This is a great podcast. I’m not Diabetic myself but members of my family are. And it’s an amazing source for education for everyone. Great work 😊
I found this podcast no long ago and especially liked this weeks episode with the singer Archie Norris as im follower of his and i love the way you show that even with a condition anything is possible

So great to hear Sir Mehdi Taheri discussing type 1, and telling the world about Fuel.
It good to hear from real people living with type 1, not just about the good but also about the times when haven’t gone the way they are expected to. Also the mix of people on the panel is good as people like myself, who has had type 1 for 40 years and can remember when things were more regimented ie you had to eat this at this time. Amazing how control has moved on in such a short time.
This is a professionally developed podcast about Type 1 Diabetes with a panel of people discussing the selected topic. Well thought out and planned like a television or radio production yet still with a sense of spontaneity as the panel openly converses the topic. I’m a USA listener and while this is set in the UK, I find no translation issues :). Definitely worth the time to listen and I look forward to hearing more!
Great first few episodes, already looking forward to the next one keep it up!
Great start to what is hopefully a regular podcast.
Jamie is clearly a professional host, and the format of the podcast is of extremely high quality.
But the subject matter is why we’re here to listen, and this is top notch as well.
The format of organised topics with a good range guests to discuss their good & bad experiences, share their knowledge and inspire with their own personal successes is both humbling and motivating.
Diabetes can be very isolating, especially if you don’t have a... more
