  • Hope

I watched all of my grandparents live the end of their lives out slumped in chairs in a nursing home. It was not living. I saw Lidia speak at a conference about ageing and she is so passionate and has some very clear ideas about changes which need to be made. I hope government listens. I look forward to listening to all of this series.

A discussion like this will help to bring the respect that aged care deserves and hopefully higher quality resourcing and salaries for those care services offering this sort o... more

  • Let’s talk getting old

I love that this podcast provides a positive forum for discussion on ageing. Too often it seems to be tabo or pushed aside. Well done Lidia + team for creating a supportive platform for this important topic.

  • Future thinking about the future of ageing

I have enjoyed listening to Ageing with Purpose, it’s not only great for keeping abreast of what’s happening in the current aged care system, but also provides some great insights into general psychology and a modern understanding of pain relevant to all ages.
