How Drug Price Negotiation Is Reshaping Clinical Trial Pipelines
Q: Is that a reason for folks to say, see, I told you so about the program, or is it too early to make that judgment?
It's important to acknowledge what's happening and focus on balancing innovation and affordability rather than framing it as an all or nothing outcome.
How Drug Price Negotiation Is Reshaping Clinical Trial Pipelines
Q: What did you find in your study on trends in clinical trial initiations?
We found that clinical trial activity remained remarkably stable at the industry level, but there was a decline in newer clinical trials among companies involved in price negotiation.
How Drug Price Negotiation Is Reshaping Clinical Trial Pipelines
Q: What were some of the questions that you had in mind as a researcher looking forward from that point?
I was really curious about whether manufacturers would behave in a sort of uniform way and where any effect would show up earliest, as innovation is a long game.
Medical Debt After Hospitalization: The Financial Fallout
Q: What's the next step for policymakers interested in better protecting people from debt and bankruptcy?
