I’ve been a Board Certified Pediatrician for 34 years and care deeply about our children’s healthcare. I love this podcast. They do a wonderful job of covering both the politics of healthcare and health issues. They are accurate and reliable even while sharing their perspectives.
This is my absolute favorite podcast. I’m an RN with an MSN in Health Policy and am a true policy nerd. This podcast keeps me informed and often provides me with different perspectives on different public health and health policy issues. I’ve been listening to WTH for years and I look forward to listening for years to come (even if it becomes a Pirate Radio kind of situation).
I not only get updates on national health policy but incisive analysis by brilliant journalists and experts to understand the effects and interplay of changes on a wide array of healthcare. I have depended on WTH for years now.
Excellent discussion. Many important points about the pending legislation in DC and how federal policies impact state budgets and individuals.
As a mother of two kids with Type 1 Diabetes, I have become a huge consumer of healthcare news and can say—KFF is it. This outlet is reputable, covering big picture policy news and individual people’s unfair bills. I have learned about larger forces at play that create the madness we call US healthcare, as well as hacks and tips for dealing with my own personal stuff. I ❤️ Julie Rovner. Keep up the good and important work
