  • Thank you for making this podcast

I am a veterinarian and I love listening to your podcast. I frequently get a little chuckle of something you’ve said, and I feel a lot of joy in hearing a different way to explain something to a client. Allergies are a very difficult thing to treat, as a general practitioner and it’s nice to have another resource to share with clients on different disease subjects. Keep up the great job!

Great resource for pet owners and veterinarians! If you have an itchy dog this is an especially good resource. However, there is a good amount of information for pets in general. The first episode alone, E1S1, contains must know information for a pet owner that has a pet that is often itchy!

  • Love this and can’t wait to share with clients!

Many clients want to be more knowledgable about their pet and conditions. I love that the podcast is a fun interesting way for clients to learn but it is upfront about the fact that these are NOT taking the place of your relationship with your vet, but to help educate. Are clients are part of our medical team and the more they know the better we can serve their pets ❤️

  • Fun & Informative

Finding this podcast is like finding a purebred Maine Coon Cat in a shelter, or a real service dog at the airport - it’s a really valuable resource in a sea of mediocrity. Dr. Lancelloti and her guests passionately provide a wealth of information without forcing you to listen to yet another dry, boring lecture. Best of all, the level of information provided is such that even I as a veterinarian frequently learn new things during this podcast, but at the same time the clients I refer to the podca... more

One Health Heroes: Disease surveillance cuts at the CDC, tracking Avian Influenza and New World Screwworm
Q: Tell us what's been going on with avian influenza. What sort of updates do you have for us on bird flu?
Cases continue, with a mix of commercial and backyard poultry outbreaks across several states, including dairy detections, indicating the virus remains circulating and geographically dispersed.
One Health Heroes: Flea-Borne Typhus in Los Angeles, Raw Milk Cheese and E. coli, Update on Bird Flu and New World Screwworm
Q: What updates exist regarding the raw milk cheddar cheese outbreak and how is E. coli being investigated?
Investigations involve identifying linked cases, testing dairy products, and regulatory agencies like the FDA advising recalls when evidence supports contamination, with a focus on preventing future outbreaks through pasteurization and surveillance.
One Health Heroes: Flea-Borne Typhus in Los Angeles, Raw Milk Cheese and E. coli, Update on Bird Flu and New World Screwworm
Q: Can you talk a little bit about flea-borne typhus and why it's a One Health issue?
Flea-borne typhus affects humans who are in households with infected pets; fleas act as the bridge between animal hosts and people, so protecting pets with effective flea control protects the whole family.
One Health Heroes: Tick Maps, Raw Milk Illness, Avian Influenza in Elephant Seals. April 1, 2026
