I love Melissa’s classes! I’ve been doing them every other day for the past 3 months and fibromyalgia flare ups have greatly dwindled and my emotional state has elevated. Twenty years ago I could bend like a pretzel but now I’m stiff as a board and 30 lbs heavier. Every other beginner yoga is too difficult. I tried Dr West beginners and I could do all the positions and I feel so relaxed. This is a great first step to gaining back my health!

I appreciate that Dr. Melissa takes the time to do these, I really do. But there is SO. MUCH. TALKING. I think, in a 60 min. class, there was only about 15 min. of yoga poses. The back and forth with the camera guy, the tangents, the commentary...it's all so frustrating. There was no flow, not even poses that make sense together, and it felt very contrived. For those who say there are not other yoga podcasts out there, there are, and they are better.
I have tried many many yoga podcasts and this is by far my favorite. It is the only one I use. Thank you.
Melissa has a great way of teaching beyond the poses. I'm do happy I found her and I tell everyone about her practices. You'll be glad you have tried snd subscribed to her podcast.
I have been doing yoga (off & on) for over 40 years. I have taken various classes, followed teachers on TV, practiced with DVD’s & books, but…Melissa is the best! She has the perfect flow or timing to her postures - that gives enough time for your body to adjust or relax into the posture. I have tried to follow teachers that seem to go as fast as they can, making it an aerobic exercise, rather than a time to stretch into the posture. Worth the time,much more than other yoga programs. Her content makes daily learning enjoyable and exciting. Nice vocals and background noise, which is not the most important part of sharing wisdom, but it is a nice touch!
Melissa West propose chaque semaine une heure de yoga très doux, un peu de méditation et des exercices de respiration. Les postures sont très faciles, accessibles à tous, y compris aux personnes peu sportives ou qui ont des blessures ou des douleurs… L’essentiel du cours est ailleurs, dans l’enchainement parfait qui donne une belle énergie et dans la bienveillance avec laquelle Melissa invite à pratiquer. Un vrai moment de yoga.
