  • Please don’t have your husband on

Your husband’s voice, bless him, sounds like Donald Trump. Could not listen to “knowing the why” episode because of this. Really tried to stick with it; could not.

  • Relatable guidance

I love writing and I love learning— so I enjoy this podcast a lot :)

While I’m not quite ready yet, someday I want to write my story— so listening to Ally’s insights and personal experience keeps encourages me.

Honestly, I thought to myself initially, “Can’t this topic be covered in about one to three episodes? How is there an ongoing podcast about this one thing?” HOWEVER— there’s always more to learn from Ally!

  • Ally’s writing prompts have helped me heal

Ally is a truth teller and she inspires me to bring my current truth to the page. I love that it does not have to be my final truth, but letting it spill out ‘as is’ is the first step. I’ve been able to write down secrets I kept for over a decade and heal the parts of me who felt like they had to hold on so tightly to them.

Thank you, Ally, for calling us to use writing as a tool for transformation. It is courageous, important work. I’m grateful to have crossed paths with you.
