  • A wonderful discovery

I’ve been fascinated by folklore for a while, lapping up local legends and myths. Being a recent transplant to Norfolk I’m lucky to be at the epicentre of UK folklore. Stacia and Siofra are excellent guides. Well researched and very entertaining delivery. Also really great to learn how place names are pronounced around here: wisbec, costessey, stiffkey, deopham, cley (okay not heard any stories around those last three places but you go call

em that and find your pints go up by a few quid)

At least 10-15 yrs ago, me and a mate were fishing at Cart Gap, cold clear night, visibility that good it looked like you could pluck stars. We were at the bottom of some beach steps at Cart Gap when two young women came down and asked if we’d seen anything! We’d never seen anybody at that spot on a cold dark winters night, it unnerved us a bit! Great podcast keep it up!
