  • BBC at it it’s best

Each week I return to R4 ( where I used to spend much of my day in former times)

for this podcast. Armando and his guests deliver glorious insights and spontaneous reflections on political language in the week’s news. Stewart Lee is a regular guest

    with his sharp anarchic wit.

I’ve listened to many earlier episodes and haven’t heard a dud one yet.

  • Still great, but not quite as great

An excellently interesting and diverting weekly treat - but if you want it at its absolute best go back to the episodes with Karen Lewis. That incarnation was equally fun but more substantial. I mourn its passing but not to the point of stopping listening.
