Unraveled is hosted by journalists Billy Jensen and Alexis Linkletter. Each season features a deep dive investigation into a case or issue that true crime fans will be obsessed with, culminating in a special streaming on discovery+. Season 5, "Unraveled: Once a Killer" sees Alexis Linkletter and Billy Jensen investigate the most elusive criminal to ever strike - the "one and done killer." These mysterious offenders commit one brutal murder and disappear back into society, which makes them nearly impossible to catch. But could that be changing? One-and-done killers have exposed massive shortcomings in the world of profiling. What makes these offenders so impossible to pin down, and what is the future of profiling in light of these previously overlooked murderers? more
The disturbing cases of Raymond Rowe and William Talbott show that one-and-done killers are among us by the thousands, and might never be found without genetic genealogy. But will authorities be allowed to keep using it? more

All their topics are enthralling and they do a great job with research, interviews, presentation, and production. I can’t wait until the next season!
I really enjoy both Billy and Alexis and the first 3 seasons of this podcast were great. I got really excited to listen to season 4 and by the end of the 1st episode I was totally thrown off. The story of yet another privileged white man in jail for a crime he obviously committed and now we’re supposed to be blaming the victim for her own murder? The amount of victim blaming here, esp the victims own daughters, is crazy to me. So the woman liked to drink, she was taking antidepressants like most... more
Season 4 called into question Billy & Alexis’ journalistic abilities and ethics. A “goodbye” note (not explicitly suicide note) written months before she was shot is proof she was suicidal therefore him shooting her isn’t murder 🤔 while speculation occurs in many crime podcasts this is one of those moments that show how much they want white rich Bob Ward to be innocent when he says to 911 “I shot my wife”. Completely understand exploring the motive/circumstances & of course his kids who have lo... more
I love Billy and Alexis. They’re such an awesome team and the cases they choose are always fascinating. My only complaint about this show is that it’s just a biiiit overproduced. Lots of DUN DUNs. Not that that’s a deal breaker, just a little note. Keep on breathing Alexis! You’re good, girl!!
I loved this podcast until season 4 which was an extremely biased look into an extremely privileged family. The family’s blatant victim blaming of their mother and outrage that someone who is as successful as their father could possibly go to jail is mystifying. I can’t believe they were given a platform like this to spew such obviously out of touch garbage.
