It is too bad there isn’t more acknowledgement of the Negro Leagues and of talented players that played and entertained communities for decades. Did you know that the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum located in Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada inducted Satchel Paige and I believe the Kansas City Monarchs into their Hall in the 1990’s - Satchel’s children attended the induction in Battleford.
