What’s with the new episode not coming out until 6am now?? It used to come out at 5:30. I listen every day but only have between 5:30 and 6 to listen to it. I might have to find a new show 😭

  • Interior decorated dorm rooms

Great coverage that I listen to daily, thanks, Brad and staff. This new dorm decorating trend however is nauseating.

When I was in college, moving into a dorm felt like a neutralizing event. You didn’t know who were the rich kids versus who was scraping by and on scholarship.

Perhaps these parents might think about generously donating the amount they spend on lavish storm rooms (podcast mentioned $20,000!!) to another student that is just getting by and wondering if they’ll be able to afford... more

  • Start Here? No thanks, End There, pls.

Stay away from this terrible pod. I would give it negative stars if I could. Not a trustworthy source for so-called “news.” Clearly no journalistic integrity. They are biased af.

They either don’t bother to fact check or are intentionally lying and are being misleading. I get the sense it’s the latter given how the stories are framed and actual facts are omitted in order to support their narrative.

This is not real news. But are we surprised? Of course not, “news” in the US hasn’t been “news... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

What Happened with Grand Canyon Flash Flood?
Q: Walk us through the latest.
The guest outlines the current status of Iranian economic pressures, ongoing shipping disruptions, and the tactical moves by both the US and Iran, emphasizing that escalation has shifted from kinetic actions to economic and logistical challenges in the Strait of Hormuz.
Introducing 'What Happened to the McStays?'
Q: What was the significance of the Isuzu Trooper in the investigation?
The missing vehicle was later located, towed from a border-adjacent parking lot, which connected the case to possible movements toward Mexico and deepened the mystery around the family's disappearance.
Introducing 'What Happened to the McStays?'
Q: What led detectives to consider foul play despite no obvious crime signs at first?
The combination of unusual domestic clues (untidy home, leftover perishables, an unattended car miles away near the border, and the dogs left outside) and the lack of communication from the family prompted investigators to treat it as potentially more than a simple disappearance.
Introducing 'What Happened to the McStays?'
Q: How did investigators respond when the police arrived at the McStays' home even before any missing persons report was filed?
Officers checked for signs of distress or bodies first, then expanded the search; they noted the dogs were still in the yard and that there were no signs of forced entry or foul play initially, which gradually heightened suspicion.
Could mRNA Give Us a Cancer Vaccine?
Q: What makes this melanoma study different from previous cancer vaccine approaches?
It uses a personalized mRNA vaccine crafted from the patient's own tumor, combined with Keytruda, to reduce recurrence, representing a shift from off-the-shelf vaccines to individualized therapy.
