I truly enjoy this podcast. It was introduced to me by my best friend. At first I didnβt think I would like it. But then I did, I enjoy listening while I am working out at the gym or on my long runs. Itβs very relaxing to me. I get to revisit some stuff I already knew, and learn about new stuff. The hosts are amazing, they make it. I have also shared the show with a group of friends that happen to be teachers. As most of my friends are teachers.
Hi Holly and Tracy if you see thisππ. I love this show because I learn so many new things that I never heard believe it or not in history class. All I learned about was American history and not world history. And this show can help. Iβve been a listener since about 2023 and have been enjoying the entertainment. #bestshowever

Information presented sometimes is interesting but Iβm sorry that the narrator really doesnβt do the content justice. She really doesnβt have a good broadcast voice. Sorry to say that. Also of course her liberal leanings have just expose themselves to the world. Thanks, but no thanks.
I have been listening to this podcast for several years now. I had no interest in history when I was in school but as an avid traveler in my adult hood I found myself wishing I had paid more attention in school. Tracy and Holly make history fun and entertaining with just enough details and help me through my daily commute!
I used to LOVE this podcast! Now, soooo many ads take up more and more time that could be better spent on content. Itβs just ridiculous.

Historically focused storytelling with a light, conversational vibe that blends deep dives into forgotten or overlooked moments with timely, modern context. Episodes cover broad historical themesβwars, revolutions, scientific developments, and cultural shiftsβoften framed through engaging narratives and sharp banter between two co-hosts. The show is known for accessible research, a warm host dynamic, and series like Unearthed that spotlight archaeological and archival finds, occasionally sparking discussion about bias, representation, and current events. A recurring highlight is the pair's ability to make obscure history feel personal and relevant, though occasional criticisms center on ads, voice style, and perceived political leanings. Th... more
