  • Sooo bad

    I listen to only one episode about Cicada 3301 . Goodness there was this woman who dominates the whole conversation between 3 or 4 people…. I barely heard the others . She is super annoying… half and hour she just says disconnect sentences that she is going to talk about in that episode….. impossible to follow 😒

    These folks are from my town and I heard about this podcast from one of my favorite podcast hosts so I was really hoping to like the show. I realize it’s not on anymore but I have to say that the way they talk about people with substance use disorders is horrible. I really wonder if the drug epidemic has not affected them and they have developed some empathy… but it’s unfortunate that someone with a history of drug use or a loved one of a person who does has to listen to their judgement.     I was initially drawn to this podcast because I liked the range of cases they explored. However, like other reviewers here I was struck by the lack of basic research when describing the Madeleine McCann case, and the utter ignorance of the podcasters was astonishing in that they didn’t even have common knowledge that the McCanns flew to Portugal, added to this, one of the hosts was ignorant and deeply offensive of his ‘knowledge’ of Ireland and the UK.
