  • Life Changing

I know it might be difficult to understand, but for a child of the 80s with typical sex education of the day who has fought their own identity for a lifetime, Elle and their guests have helped me become more confident with who I am, more open to others needs, a better friend, a better lover, and In my mind the most beneficial, they have helped me have greater empathy towards others.

The Tech and Sexuality Episode
Q: When did you first start using the Internet and how did that shape your view on privacy?
Paige discusses early experiences with dial-up and online communities, emphasizing how access to information and later surveillance shaped her commitment to digital rights and privacy.
The Disability Rights and Sexuality Episode 2
Q: Can you react to the case study about Kevin, a 50-year-old man with cognitive disability who faced housing-based restrictions on sexual activity?
The hosts and Lena discuss how restricting sexual expression due to disability and cognitive differences often stems from a lack of consent education and supportive resources, leading to punitive outcomes like housing loss. The emphasis is on connecting individuals with education, resources, and inclusive policies rather than punishment.
The Disability Rights and Sexuality Episode 2
Q: What advice do you have for disclosing STI-positive status, especially on dating apps?
A practical approach is to create a care plan for yourself before, during, and after disclosure, including nervous-system regulation, self-affirmation, and post-conversation support such as friends or therapy to manage reactions and maintain well-being.
The Disability Rights and Sexuality Episode 2
Q: What is queer imposter syndrome, and how does it affect people in the community you work with?
She explains that queer imposter syndrome is relatively common in subcommunities within the queer spectrum, such as bisexual, pansexual, or trans/non-binary groups, and emphasizes that many people worry about fitting in or being 'enough' in relationships, which can be alleviated by reframing experiences as shared firsts rather than failures.
