Consistently entertaining whether or not I’ve watched whatever they’re talking about because all the hosts are good storytellers and have the presence of mind to not say boring stuff, which is just so important in this line of work. Like sometimes on a podcast the hosts will start going on a tangent and I reach for the skip button but I could listen to these people riff for hours (and have, I suppose).
Our hosts often ask: Who even watches all this trash? Answer: I do. I found this podcast after watching Christmas Trade and reading a Letterboxd review that shouted out the Swapcast. I first listened to the ‘Get Out’ episode as I know that movie, and it was honestly such a fun episode that I haven’t stopped listening since. These guys have an amazing chemistry and it just feels like I’m listening in to a bunch of friends having funny banter. Body swap films aren’t my forte and I’ll probably never watch half of these films, but I thoroughly enjoy the deep dive and the humour behind it all. Bravo 👏
This podcast is always hilarious. The hosts are witty and cutting but also super endearing. It’s a bizarre theme for the show but it works! A refreshing departure from normal life and normal podcasts.
A deep dive into a vast genre of movies I wasn’t aware was this expansive. Fun hosts, odd films, solid recommendations
