  • Pedantic

Pedantic. Can be fun if they are ripping a movie you hate or like a movie you like but otherwise obnoxiously pedantic.

Edited: officially done with this podcast. These ladies are over the top literal and have no sense of humor.

  • Awesome podcast

Long time listener and I loveeee it. Great film analysis from a lefty lens, and lots of solid information in relation to each film they review. Idk if the hosts see these reviews, but I’d like to make a movie suggestion: State of Siege, 1972. One of the only films to make it out of Allende’s Chile. It’s good, maybe one of the most shocking films I’ve seen, considering the events it was based on.

Adds nothing to the understanding of the film, not clever, not funny.

She does it many times per episode, and I guess it’s just the most intriguing thing since sliced bread to her. I’ve never seen anyone run a “joke” into the ground like this. I keep trying to listen to episodes of this podcast, but it never works out. I like podcasts about movies, b... more

  • Great show

Just wish I knew more about whether they think that my country is disgusting and we should all stop existing. Unclear because they only bring it up every 20 minutes.
