Came to the pod by way of Sixteenth Minute by Jamie, needed to still be able to hear her voice. One of the few pods in my rotation that I find myself laughing out loud and smiling to myself - a much needed reprieve while still holding movies to account!
I’ve been listening to this show since… 2018? 2019? I’ve been obsessed since the day I found it. Love to see the growth over the years. Hope it goes on for as long as Caitlin and Jamie choose to keep it going
They said F Natalie Portman because she is from Israel and says they have a right to exist.
I get why they hate certain films, like Something About Mary.
But they have no interest in meeting a movie where it’s at.

Who is this even for.
I listened to a few episodes and was so put off by the way these hosts manage to be offended by literally everything. Every element of every film is either racist, misogynistic, transphobic, ableist, or Zionist, etc. This podcast is literally like listening to a conservative parody of what they think liberals sound like. Idk how real people live their lives being this offended about everything.
They’re also still using “Latinx” in the year of our lord 2026???? Just super offensive and out of to... more

A feminist-leaning film podcast analyzes women's representation on screen through sharp, humorous discussions. Each episode dissects a film or franchise using the Bechdel Test and feminist theory, often pairing the hosts with guests who bring lived experience, academic insights, or industry context. The show stands out for its clear commitment to intersectional perspectives, lively banter, and rigorous yet accessible critique of gender dynamics in pop culture. It's especially notable for combining scholarly analysis with playful, quotable commentary, making it approachable for listeners who want both insight and entertainment while exploring films through a women-centered lens.
