  • Antisemitic

They said F Natalie Portman because she is from Israel and says they have a right to exist.

  • Gave Up

I get why they hate certain films, like Something About Mary.

But they have no interest in meeting a movie where it’s at.

Take a shot every time they say “problematic”. You’d be dead.

    Who is this even for.

  • Obnoxious and exhausting

I listened to a few episodes and was so put off by the way these hosts manage to be offended by literally everything. Every element of every film is either racist, misogynistic, transphobic, ableist, or Zionist, etc. This podcast is literally like listening to a conservative parody of what they think liberals sound like. Idk how real people live their lives being this offended about everything.

They’re also still using “Latinx” in the year of our lord 2026???? Just super offensive and out of to... more

  • Funny, comforting, educational

I've been listening to this show for coming up to 8 years now and would strongly recommend. I've learnt so much without ever feeling like I'm being lectured. The hosts are funny, sweet, and genuine, and their takes have evolved as the show has gone on to be nuanced and thought-provoking. Analysis is accessible without being overly simplistic and has really coloured the way I see the world. The hosts always seem to be having fun making the show and it puts me in a great mood to listen. Thank you ... more

  • Found this podcast this year

I’m enjoying the show a lot! I’ve even gone backwards and listened to some episodes that I actually LOVED and have been woken up why they’re bad movies but still enjoy from time to time when I turn off my awareness. Thank you!
