I love the podcast. The critical analysis is deep, thoughtful, and insightful. I personally really liked the most recent ep of "i saw the tv glow" as a trans person who didnt have an egg moment/was called trans by the public before i knew i was. Ty harmony đź’š
I definitely watched this movie when it first came out (Gilmore Girls fan checking in) and I don’t remember crying watching it, but I definitely cried listening to you two talk about it. I love the podcast and this episode was such a beautiful tribute to this movie.
I’ve been watching/rewatching movies and listening to the episodes and I’ve been really enjoying. I didn’t watch a lot of movies growing up so a lot of these are newer to me and it’s nice to listen to these two ladies talk about their experience with the movies. Sometimes when I really dislike a movie they like it helps to get their perspective so I can at least appreciate the movie. I also think they’re both funny.
I really like this podcast despite never having heard of a lot of the movies they cover. Their discussions are great. Harmony is fantastic- smart, funny and insightful. BJ is also very smart and funny, but can come off as a little insufferable. I don’t listen to podcasts to be yelled at or lectured by a mean, know it all. This show has become a must listen and quite therapeutic. I enjoy both BJ and Harmony so much, their vibes, thoughts, their lovey connection. It doesn’t matter what movie is being discussed, wider discussions are always had and I still enjoy hanging out and listening. This has also helped me discover, rediscover and appreciate more movies. Thank you both!
