I have listened to these guys for years. I love David and listen to all his stuff. I actually love all the guys. They have a great chemistry and I always have fun and laugh out loud at least once. It’s interesting that some complain about the “pre-review segments” but I see these as more time to hang out and enjoy the vibes. I’ve been a longtime fan of David Chen, following him since his Game of Thrones podcast with Joanna Robinson. He’s a talented, level-headed host and one of the main reasons I tune in.
Unfortunately, my enjoyment of this show is often derailed by one of the cohosts, who tends to go on loud, cringe-inducing political rants. Love this show and have been a listener for at least the past 10 years. The most recent Long Walk episode continues to reinforce my opinion that Jeff’s reviews tend to incorporate too much personal bias. Let’s just remember and agree that as movie fans, we are watching and reviewing “a fictional” piece of art.
