I’ve been listening regularly for years and I was very surprised to discover that it doesn’t look like I’ve ever left a review. This podcast is packed full of positive energy and thoughtful discussions around news and games. The main show is a great mix of insight, banter, perennially solid guests, and Christian and Jeff have a good sense of when to stick to the program and when to let things go off the rails for a little bit in the name of a good conversation. Lana is an indispensable addition to the Wednesday show and the book club, they put out a ton of bonus content, and having kept the show in my feed for years at this point, it’s like hanging out with old friends for literal hours week.
I stumbled upon DLC after most of the gaming podcasts I listened to chose not to discuss or even acknowledge Hogwarts Legacy at all. I was pleasantly surprised to find this podcast that not only had a good faith discussion on the game, while acknowledges the controversy, but also turned out to be an honest to goodness video game podcast.
Listening to DLC is like hanging out with some of my best friends. I’ve been listening since episode 1 and can’t imagine a week without Jeff, Christian and now Lana being a part of it. more
