This is so interesting to hear these Bay Area stories in more detail than I have ever heard before. I grew up eating Santos’s linguica. It was amazing. I remember as kid going into the shop. Thank you this detailed research. Jane’s story was always a rumored one. It was fascinating to hear all of the layers and Possibilities. Really a great podcast. I have sent it to a lot of friends and family.
I loved listening to Sausage King series on the Bitter Academia podcast. my dad delivered laungisa for Tweety before Stewart took over so it was close to my heart.
Interesting deep dive into a little piece of history. Thanks for taking the time to explore and honor her story, and for sharing it with all of us!
An interesting podcast for history buffs who like a good mystery.
The story was interesting and the presenter did a good job, but it could have used some serious editing. This should have been six episodes at most. For a very compelling story, it got downright boring at times. I hope the presenter continues to present stories and continues to hone her craft.
