The topics are very interesting, but the experts they bring on the show are prone to making weird factual inaccuracies. I’m sure most of what they say is great analysis, but the mistakes make me not know what I can really trust.
Don’t be fooled, they aren’t true progressives. Stale quasi-social conservatives who didn’t learn the lessons of the Blair and Brown years, the most authoritarian government in decades, maybe ever. Totally out of touch with modern metropolitan liberalism. Still they have the Labour Party back, only Corbyn and the Momentum socialist loonies could have done worse and god how they did and then some and then some more.
The least progressive political podcast I’ve listened to.
Blairite rubbish that shouldn’t be allowed to use the word progressive in the title.
Unsubscribed 👎🏻
Sorry to have to say it.
Progress needs to protect its brand. The Bridget Phillipson speech was excellent.
As far as this one is concerned, I suggest someone sits down with a pen and counts how many time the word ‘like’ was used by the commentator. The discussion offered no insights and was no more than a chat between two old friends.
Americast on BBC sounds is, by contrast, first rate.
Far left London types in a echo chamber
