  • Favorite, longest-listened podcast

I’ve been listening to this podcast longer and more consistently than just about any other podcast that I’ve ever enjoyed. I’ve been listening since the host’s previous Queens of England podcast, and getting to always hear such in-depth, well-researched discussions of historic women and their times always keeps me coming back. So grateful for this show!

  • Good content, bad editing.

I enjoy the show very much - it’s so well researched and presented. However the editing is sometimes quite glitchy which makes it difficult to listen to.

  • My favourite podcast

I adore this podcast with my whole life, it was the soundtrack of my lockdown and I love coming back to it every so often. I don’t know if you could call it nostalgia, but I do know that this is a top-tier history podcast

  • Podcasting at its best

I thoroughly enjoy every episode and love learning about each woman featured. Whether James shines light on a lesser known figure or gives a new take on some of history's most notorious females, this show will not disappoint. Each story is well-researched and very cohesive, yet has enough of a lively narrative to keep you engaged the whole time. Well worth your time. I'm not surprised, as Mr. Boulton's Queens of England podcast was my first foray into the medium almost a decade ago, and I've bee... more
