  • Used to be better

They lost me when I found out some of the information they were sharing was incorrect. Their audio quality has also somehow gotten worse over the years? Used to love this podcast, but now know this is not a dependable way to get historical information.

I find that I have to turn up the volume because their sound quality is so bad, and then I am assaulted by these extremely loud cackles and it genuinely hurts my ears! I don’t personally find them funny but I do like their personalities and their little... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

History's Mysteries: St. Bartholomew's Day massacre
Q: Was it always meant to be just this one admiral or was it always meant to be a larger attack of all the leaders of the Huguenots?
It wasn't just about him; it was all of them. It was meant to be a warning and a clarity, like don't mess with us.
History's Mysteries: St. Bartholomew's Day massacre
Q: Did Catherine call for the murder of Coligny?
Yes, there was a lot of preparation for this and they were just waiting for the right timing to pull the trigger.
Royal Yearbook with Even the Royals
Q: Can you tell us about your themed beverage tradition?
We pick a queen and create a cocktail inspired by her story; it's a fun way to mix history and drinking together.
Royal Yearbook with Even the Royals
Q: What made you want to do a show together, and why the Queens Podcast?
We've known each other for the majority of our lives. We're both theater majors. When podcasting came around, we thought it would be fun, and here we are eight years later.
Royal Yearbook with Even the Royals
Q: So what about royal lives have you taken away from the past year?
Basically, it pretty much sucks. And if you have a vagina, your only job is to push out a child, and it better be a male. Real love is hard to come by.
