Friend of mine sent over this podcast and I’m glad she did. I’m working on a budget and putting back for my future. These guys talk everyday talk and I find it very informative and helpful. I’ve heard several shows that normally always feel like they’re selling something and this show isn’t an infomercial. Trying to be money wise
I love the genuine and local feel accompanied by solid financial advice. No other show online like it. Being from Kern County, it’s great to hear local perspectives that sound interesting with a global impact. Way to go Moneywise!
Love this podcast and I’ve learned a lot when it comes to saving. I listen everyday on my drive to work and back. These guys are a huge inspiration to our community. Can’t wait to see how they bring back the Woolworths building.

You mention the importance of critical thinking but you are just seeing the world through your own narrow lens. I’ve been listener throughout the entire pandemic, and I’m now unfollowing.
Thank you so much and keep on doing more great show.

A financially minded show that blends practical money advice with local business and market color. Episodes frequently cover mortgage rates, housing affordability, tax considerations, estate planning, insurance, and retirement planning, all framed with approachable, real-world examples. The hosts often bring in guests from lending, real estate, legal, and small-business circles to translate complex topics into actionable tips for everyday listeners, with a regional Bakersfield focus and frequent nods to community development and local markets. A standout trait is its ability to mix technical topics (tariffs, Roth conversions, 401(k) strategy) with cultural segments (local arts, music icons, and regional events), creating a relatable, educat... more
