  • The best horror movie podcast bar none

I’ve been listening to this show for over a decade now and these guys are still at the top of my list of horror movie podcasts. In later years I’ve come to miss the interviews they often did with cast and crew when the show first began, but I guess eventually you begin running out of potential guests. My only gripe throughout has been that one of the hosts always sounds like he’s reading from a script when he does his reviews, which can sometimes be a bit tiresome to listen to. Otherwise this is... more

  • Never gets old

Although I’ve been a listener since 2020, I finally decided to take the plunge and started listening to the show from Episode 1. I have to say they’re still very enjoyable, addictive and age very well. I actually find myself liking ooking more forward to next classic episode of The Hysteria Continues than some of the current episodes of other horror podcasts I subscribe to. I enjoy the long format of their early years, but I can understand why they’ve streamlined it nowadays. Definitely a mus... more

The fact that any one of them could like Jordan Peele’s “Us”, much less more than one, means that I cannot in good conscience, continue to listen to this podcast anymore and am Unsubscribing. To praise a film as nonsensical as that, one of the most poorly written films in horror cinema history (where did all the jumpsuits and scissors come from and why did they just never leave???) and such an absolute riot and joke of a performance from the lead, gives me an... more
