Always been fascinated by German history and culture, and I’m even learning the language for a year now, I would love to live in Germany and would love to also travel to Köln someday as well.
There are so many history podcasts out there, and so many good ones already, that it must be daunting to create a new one. Especially about a topic that is not necessarily considered as popular. Therefore I am very grateful for the work you have done (and continue to do) to research and record this excellent podcast. Danke schön from NYC, USA!
This podcast was highly recommended by Dirk at The History of Germany and I’m glad I gave it a listen.
I love learning about different cultures and their history.
I’m only on episode 9 right now, but learning how Cologne was established by the Romans over 2,000 years ago and is still a thriving city amazes me.
I’m American so if anything is over fifty here, that’s amazing, lol.
Willem (who happens to be German) is a delightful and enjoyable guide to a beautiful city.
