For someone who was wondering about lack of historic background for most of the pre-Bismarck German history at schools, and herself coined from a different country, this podcast is like a fountain of wisdom. And it’s witty, too. Honestly, the best possible mix. 10 out of 10🤘
I stumbled across this podcast by accident and have been listening to it for 3 days straight. Since I realized there is still content being released on a regular basis, I find myself in a listening frenzy, attempting to get caught up so I can listen as new episodes are dropped. I haven’t been this satisfied with a podcast since I discovered “The rest is History”. Thanks and keep up the good work!

I absolutely love this podcast! Excellently narated, and researched, it offers a great perspective on German history.
I heard of your podcast from a local archeologist and began listening a few months ago. I am only ending season one. I have roots in Germany and two of my children live there. It lets me know intimately where they came from. My youngest son also loves the podcast. As a brilliant 12-year-old he gets more out of it than I do. Thank you. You inspire me to learn more. I would love to help improve your reading list. I'm a librarian and looking to help.
