Love this podcast. He presents facts, but does not make it boring. I love the Tudor period, currently listening to season 5 eps 5- 30, 225 over all. One correction I believe Charles V was Katherine of Aragon’s nephew not uncle.
Discovered this pod cast late last year and listened to all the episodes - more than a decades worth so strap in - in a few months. David has such a love for the subject but doesn’t get (too) entangled in weeds. He makes a good attempt to deal with difficult subjects such as the ‘relationship’ with Ireland and slavery without gloss.
