I am a dyslexia tutor who focuses primarily on spelling through etymology, not phonics. I recommend this podcast to every parent who ever complains that spelling is hard and wants answer to “Why, why, why??” This podcast is the most historically neutral I’ve come across, since the history is actually secondary to how the language is developed. It’s an easy listen and so full of information, you have to hear it twice!
Among my top podcasts about language and etymology. Densely informative. Well-researched. Reliable format. Easy listening.
I love your podcast and have listened to every episode. Thank you for the gift of knowledge.
Thank you for being a real one Mr Kevin
I am not a podcast person. I don’t tend to enjoy the medium. I however love this podcast! It is the only one I listen to. I have not gotten to the end of it. I hope I never do. While I’m a nerd, this is accessible to everyone, the story telling is engaging and the factoids tickle the fancy in just the right way.
