  • feels like you're on a casual call with Kerry every episode!

such a great podcast! it feels like you're on a group facetime call with Kerry and her guest, which is my favorite feeling to have when listening to a podcast. Kerry navigates the various topics within the intersection of being a mother and an aerialist with such grace, and it's always a treat to hear what she and her guests have to say. i would 100% recommend giving it a listen. :)

  • No other podcast like it!

This podcast may seem like it is only for a niche community (which I admit we are rare birds) but it is about so much more than just aerial and motherhood. Kerry has covered so many topics that affect all of us and I can think of no more powerful way to stay connected than sharing stories. I loved the J Lo Baby #2 episode I just finished while nursing my 1 week old baby in the wee hours of the morning (thanks for keeping me awake and entertained)! I’ve been honored to be interviewed as well abou... more

  • fun and inspiring conversations

Hostess Kerry is my Silk teacher. Her Aerial Silk is one of my favorite classes, always fun and challenging, her amazing music playlist is a big plus too! Conversation in this podcast is so much I can relate my life, as a mother, aerialist, talking about injuries… people overcome hardships and so on! So inspiring that I even shared my story on her podcast once.

Endometriosis, Uterine Fibroids, Subchorionic Hematoma, Trigger Finger, Morning Sickness & Chasing After a Toddler While Pregnant with Samantha Gurnick
Q: What were the biggest medical hurdles you faced before and during pregnancy, and how did you navigate them?
She describes endometriosis, fibroids, polyps, and a prior myomectomy as factors creating a high-risk scenario, plus a subchorionic hemorrhage early in the first pregnancy. She explains she worked with specialists (pelvic floor therapy, careful monitoring) and adjusted plans (possible C-section, but delivered vaginally) while maintaining hope and adapting expectations.
Racism on the Job with Darielle Williams - Part 2
Q: What three qualities or areas of knowledge were most impactful in your career?
Strength and skill, mental toughness and emotional regulation, and the ability to market oneself and build professional connections.
Racism on the Job with Darielle Williams - Part 2
Q: How have you learned to be effective and successful when you are the only one in the room who looks like you?
It depends on the situation; early in my career I was often a wallflower, but over time I learned to balance being seen with staying safe, using both quiet resilience and prepared responses to advocate for myself when appropriate.
Belly Dance for Pelvic Floor Healing with Jennifer Sobel of The Belly Dance Solution
Q: What makes belly dance particularly effective for pelvic floor work in the context of pelvic floor dysfunction and continence?
Belly dance engages the pelvic floor through a holistic combination of contraction and release, with movements like the pelvic tuck and drop allowing for natural activation of the lower abs and pelvic floor, which can be harder to achieve with seated Kegels.
Belly Dance for Pelvic Floor Healing with Jennifer Sobel of The Belly Dance Solution
Q: How did you first start teaching this course and what is the foundation of the Belly Dance Solution?
The course began as a focused intro to belly dance for pelvic floor strengthening, identifying five key movements and teaching them in a way that remains accessible and enjoyable, so women can integrate the practice into daily life rather than needing rigid practice times.
