  • Great Team with a New Show

Excited to have Adam and Alec together on this show. I was sad for a moment when Adam and Joe ended the original afternoon show, but this along with the OG turned out to be a great move. Only thing that would make it better is more Steve Logan!!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

What might the winning score be in the 2026 Masters?
Q: What do you think the winning score will be?
Gary Williams predicts a potentially single-digit winning score, noting the course is very firm and the greens are extremely demanding, which could push the winning number to single digits depending on how players tighten the screws.
How does a 15-yr basketball coach vet, and someone w/ NC roots, feel about college basketball in NC?
Q: What attracted you to the Charlotte job and the North Carolina market?
Miller describes growing up in Charlotte and believing the program could thrive, driven by the region's basketball culture and the opportunity to build something sustainable with strong community support and investment.
What will be the biggest chatter amongst the 2026 Masters?
Q: Would you be surprised if Russell Henley won a Masters?
Not at all; Henley has proven he can perform well at Augusta, suggesting a potential surprise winner is plausible.
What will be the biggest chatter amongst the 2026 Masters?
Q: Who's your pick, Scott?
Scott Michaux predicts Patrick Reed or one of the other top contenders like Rahm or DeChambeau to win, emphasizing that the Masters field is more open this year than in the past.
What really lost it for Duke against UConn in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight?
Q: Is there a way to simulate what NCAA tournament pressure does to a player?
Coaches can simulate pressure in practice with tight shot clocks, two-score differentials, and competitive scrimmages, but nothing fully replicates the real atmosphere of a tournament game; experience and composure under pressure tend to separate players in the end.
