  • Disappointingly misogynistic boys club

I’ve been a big fan of this podcast the last two years; an entertaining mix of football and pop culture.

But the whole time it’s been nagging me how exclusionary it is for women.

I didn’t think it was a conscious thing by the hosts, but comments like how to bargain with your girlfriend/wife so that you can watch the games on Sunday are pretty common.

I shrugged it off as a blind spot for a while, until I watched the final episode of the podcast before they moved to Netflix. In that show, they... more

How would talking about Transformers, with this trio, with modern artistic discourse, be a good idea at all. First signs of trouble with this show.

  • Hilarious dudes

Breakfast: protein bagel sandwich including homemade low cal McDonald’s breakfast sauce, egg whites with salt and pepper, ground turkey spiced to taste like sausage, and American cheese.

These feel like talking sports with my buddies and get sidetracked with trivial facts and dick jokes. A+

P.S. growing up in central PA in the late 90s and 2000s a chode has always been a dick that is wider than it is long. Not a fun time to be named Kody (aka Chody) in middle school.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Rules to Win Your Draft. Plus, Bill Simmons Pitches Fantasy Football 'Grenades'
Q: What is the basic draft strategy they advocate?
Wait on quarterback, target running backs early, cash in on five wide receivers in the first ten rounds, and grab at least one top-12 running back with plans to secure a second if possible; only take a tight end early if you get a truly elite value.
Major Training Camp Injuries to Monitor and the Top Four Hottest NFL QBs With Mina Kimes
Q: Who are the top four hottest quarterbacks according to the panel?
The panel settles on a top four of Hurts, Allen, Burrow, and Herbert, with Burrow and Allen close for first depending on the criteria, and Dak Prescott finishing top five.
Broncos Trade for Jaylen Waddle, NFL Free Agency Hangover, Craig's Oscars Recap, and a March Madness Preview With Tate Frazier
Q: How do you reconcile signing Malik Willis with a potential tank year for the Dolphins?
They propose multiple theories: Willis as a sincere developmental bet, as a ticket-seller, or as cover for a broader draft strategy to control the rebuild while remaining competitive.
Broncos Trade for Jaylen Waddle, NFL Free Agency Hangover, Craig's Oscars Recap, and a March Madness Preview With Tate Frazier
Q: What makes the Jaylen Waddle trade to Denver stand out to you all?
It's viewed as a bold attempt by Sean Payton to maximize offensive firepower, despite a potentially steep price; the panel debates whether the upgrade justifies the cap hit and discusses the surrounding roster implications.
Way Too Early Top 12 Fantasy Rankings, Mom Sports Takes, and Why Do We Smell Rain
Q: Is it a top four of like, there's, well, overall people you can take first. And I wouldn't be surprised?
I think that it is a four-person tier, with Puka, Nakua, Jamar Chase, Jameer Gibbs, and Bijan Robinson in it.
